This will include looking at general movement. There will also be questions about general health, and in particular the impact the pain is having on daily life.
Investigation
Although the focus of treatment is pain relief investigations can be arranged. If necessary other specialists can be involved.
At the end of the consultation a plan will be made. Management is individualised and may include more than one approach.
